NEW YORK (AP) — A documentary chronicling Beyoncé’s just-concluded 39-city Renaissance World Tour will premiere in North American theaters Dec. 1, AMC Theaters introduced Monday.
The movie provides a second blockbuster from a music famous person to a fall slate of flicks that’s been barely thinned out by the continuing display screen actors’ strike. Like “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” which debuts Oct. 13, “Renaissance: A Movie By Beyoncé” is being launched instantly by AMC, the movie show chain, with out studio involvement.
Tickets will begin at $22 plus tax. The movie will run for at least 4 weeks, AMC mentioned.
Beyoncé’s earlier movies embrace the acclaimed 2019 Netflix movie “Homecoming,” which captured her Coachella efficiency in 2018. Within the offers with AMC, Beyoncé and Swift are each reported to be receiving a minimum of 50% of ticket gross sales.
