The award, impressed by the legacy of media educator and broadcast pioneer Lew Klein, is introduced yearly to a media luminary whose work conjures up college students. Previous recipients embody Oscar- and Grammy-winning musician and producer Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, actress and producer Tina Fey, sports activities icon Charles Barkley, CNN anchor Jake Tapper, and New York Occasions Govt Editor Dean Baquet.
