
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — A Missouri decide dominated Thursday that the 84-year-old white house owner who shot a Black teenager after he mistakenly went to the person’s home should stand trial.
Clay County Choose Louis Angles issued the ruling after a dozen witnesses spoke at a preliminary listening to, together with Ralph Yarl, {the teenager} who was shot by Andrew Lester on April 13 when Yarl went to the unsuitable home to choose up his youthful brothers.
Lester, a retired plane mechanic, is charged with first-degree assault and armed legal motion. He beforehand pleaded not responsible within the taking pictures that shocked the nation and renewed nationwide debates about gun insurance policies and race in America. His subsequent courtroom date is an arraignment, scheduled for Sept. 20
